I've been neglecting most of my writing assignments and this light duty as a blogger.
Since I've gotten my new phone (low megapixel + no macro function) I was psyched about the camera function, at least it's an upgrade of my really old mobile. *Grins*
Thus I stopped bringing any semi or full SLR to everywhere I eat so that I could enjoy the moment of... Consuming, instead of searching for the perfect angle. I've been working on full day basis last month and I had numerous writings to do, then I have this exam I'll be sitting in a few weeks' time. So, pray for me, really need the maximum blessings I can have.
A little update on the SLR I've been using quite frequently... It has reported itself to the factory. :(

Here's a brief account of interesting food I've eaten throughout the last month. Stay tuned for a longer, proper post after mid May. ;)
First, here goes the variation of chicken chop at the Teluk Chempedak stall.
It isn't listed on the menu displayed, just ask for chicken cutlets or express the same in whichever language you prefer and that would suffice. Also, the price has gone up to RM10 after year 2011 commences.
I loved the texture more than the whole chop, should I say. These cutlets have a larger surface area in contact with the frying oil hence the enhanced crispiness - the bomb!
What goes well with the fried chicken chop would be a nutritious bowl of dessert.
Honeydew Sago for RM2.50.
The western food + dessert combo has been a largely celebrated way of eating by its visitors as there is a dessert specialty a stall away. A few of the prices had also gone up by 10~20c.

Spent a fortnight at PJ and there was this day I decided I missed IKEA Swedish meatballs all of a sudden. I've always been eager to try making these using the recipe published in Flavours but I guess I require a little more winding. After all, the cure for my appetite is just walking distance from 1 Utama.
The popular dish served with cream sauce, lingonberry sauce and french fries.
I was downright stuffed right after 8 meatballs! This was my brunch and I was having a great appetite - which wasn't so massive, after all. I dislike the fact that I was unable to even finish the sauces as I also took a large saucer full of mustard + ketchup. *Growls*
As my boyfriend helped himself to a Macadamia Nuts Daim (which appeared to be really delicious and not as sweet as we imagined), I took a serving of Prinsesstårta, a cream cake covered with a layer of lime green marzipan (and I didn't believe that was the marzipan the description alongside the cake meant!). Its constituent is basically a dollop of whipped cream wedged in between the marzipan and a thin layer of sponge cake. However the marzipan was too sweet for my liking which was why I removed it after a few munches.
It was a bad decision to have myself order a plate of 10 meatballs and an overly sweet dessert. But, thanks to IKEA's budget-saving menu, we didn't have to spend too much on these. :)
