Georgetown Food Hunt II.

We were literally knocked out on the previous night, so we gave ourselves more slumber time!

As to where we stayed, a friend of my aunt helped looked for this sweet, cosy little homestay at Gerbang Midlands, footsteps away from Berjaya Penang Hotel and very reasonably priced. The only downside was we had three rooms but only one bath to share!

As we prepared to leave, we were just in time for brunch. Our destination? Lebuh Cecil.

Accidental shot taken on the car.

It was a sunny Sunday and some lanes were closed on this 'No Vehicle Day'.

Old buildings with different hues.

The Lebuh Cecil Hawker Center!

The Otak-otak priced at RM2.20 was heavily infused with santan and mint leaves, unlike what we saw in southern Malaysia; even the wrapping wasn't similar.

Get some Penang's signature dish - Har Mee at RM2.60.

Curry Mee at RM2.60!

Javanese Mee at RM3.00.

Looking scrumptious! I loved a nice scoop of ice cream on my Ais Kacang.

And we made our way back to the Peninsular via the new Penang bridge with many more vehicles. The traffic was smooth though.
